Cautions Before/After Vaccination |

Before vaccination - It is best for a child to be accompanied by a parent who knows child’s medical history. - Please check body temperature prior to visit and bring vaccination pocket book. - It is recommended to bath infants one day prior to the vaccination visit and to dress them with clean clothes. - It is recommended not to bring other who will not be vaccinated child along. - It is recommended to be vaccinated in weekdays during morning. After vaccination - It is recommended to observe the condition for 20~30 minutes after vaccination before leaving the hospital. - Intensive observation for at least 3 hours is necessary when returned home. - Please refrain from any intensive exercise on the day of vaccination and the day after. - It is recommended not to take a bath on the day of vaccination. - Please keep the area of vaccination clean. - Close observation is needed for at least 3 days after vaccination. Please contact a doctor immediately in case of a high fever, seizure, etc. - A child should be guided to sleep with supine position |
General Contraindications of Vaccination |
- Suffering from acute febrile disease (Nonfebrile mild common cold is not contraindicated) - In acute or active phase of cardiovascular disease or renal disease - Hypersensitivity history to egg, chicken - Seizure-developed history within 1year - Please allow at least 2 months to monitor the condition if suffered from Measles, Mumps, or Chicken pox before vaccinated. - Please allow at least 1 month to monitor the condition if vaccinated for Measles, Mumps, or Chicken pox before vaccinated. - Undergoing immune suppressant control treatment (Steroid or radiation) - Having taken Gamma globulin, serum injection or had transfusion within 3 months prior to vaccination |
