Built on the old army headquarters site, the War Memorial of Korea is the largest memorial building in the world. Over 13,600 war and weapons-related materials ranging from the Three Kingdoms Era up to the present are displayed at the indoor exhibition hall.
The outdoor exhibition hall displays large weapons from all over the world, the life-sized Gwanggaeto Stele and Statue of Brothers. In the left and right corridor is a monument bearing the names of soldiers who died in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
