Seoul Eco-Mileage Program Overview
- Program Description: Incentives are provided based on the reduction rate and amount of actual driving distance compared to the baseline mileage.
- Operation Period: 2017 – Present
- Eligible Participants: Owners of non-commercial passenger or van-type vehicles with 12 seats or fewer registered in Seoul (approximately 2.72 million vehicles)
- Electric and hydrogen vehicles are excluded; only one vehicle per person can participate.
- For jointly owned vehicles, registration must be under the representative owner's name.
- Current Participation: A total of 253,701 vehicles (including 4,999 from Yongsan-gu residents)
- Usage of Incentives: Can be used for eight types of payments such as local tax payments (ETAX), gift certificates (e.g., Onnuri), apartment management fees, city gas bills, and designated donations.
How to Participate in the Seoul Eco-Mileage Program

- Visit the website: https://ecomileage.seoul.go.kr/home
- Sign up for membership
- Register your vehicle and upload a photo of the odometer (driving distance)
- Register your driving distance every 6 months and again after 12 months for performance verification
- Earn mileage points based on the driving reduction rate
- After receiving mileage, you can check your carbon emissions (kg/CO₂) under "My Page" → "My Energy Usage."

The more favorable result between the reduction rate and reduction distance will be applied.
