Garbage disposal & Recycling
Garbage bags
Standard-volume garbage bags are available in 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, and 75 liters.
100-liter bags are supplied only to certain apartment complexes equipped with automatic waste transfer systems.
Food waste must be disposed of in designated food waste bags of 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 liters.
There are also 10-liter and 20-liter special volume-rate bags for small amounts of construction debris or glass waste.
General garbage must be placed at designated collection points between 6:00 p.m. and midnight (apartments are exempt from this restriction).
Recyclable waste should be separated into paper, plastic, glass, and metal.
Apartment complexes are equipped with recycling bins.
Contaminants must not be mixed with recyclables, and items should be reduced in size before disposal.
