Kim Koo Museum and Library

The Kim Koo Museum & Library was established within Hyochang Park to celebrate the achievements of independence activist and politician Kim Koo (Pen name: Baekbeom). The museum exhibits materials that help visitors to better understand modern and contemporary Korean history.
At the central hall of the first floor exhibition hall is a seated statue of Baekbeom Kim Koo. Historic materials related to the Donghak Peasant Revolution, righteous (civilian) army activities and independence movement activities are on display. The second floor displays materials related to his work for the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.
