Leeum

Leeum is the largest private art gallery in South Korea, with more than
15,000 works on display, including national treasures, leading works from
the early modern and modern art periods and works by prominent
international artists.
The name of the museum is a portmanteau of the word Lee, the name of
the late founder of Samsung Group, and the word museum. Leeum
consists of the three buildings: Museum I which displays ancient works,
Museum II which exhibits modern art, and the Samsung Child Education
and Culture Center.
The buildings were designed by masters of modern architecture Mario
Botta (Switzerland), Jean Nouvel (France) and Rem Koolhass (Netherlands).
